This refurbished HPE ProLiant DL580 Gen10 Server is a high-density, four-socket server with high performance, scalability and reliability, all in a 4U chassis. Supporting the latest 2nd generation of Intel Xeon Scalable processors, the HPDL580 Gen10 Server can offers greater processing power, up to 6 TB of faster memory, IO of up to sixteen PCIe 3.0 slots, up to 12 TB of HPE Persistent Memory plus the intelligence and simplicity of automated management with HPE OneView and HPE iLO 5. The HPE ProLiant DL580 Gen10 Server is the ideal server for business critical workloads, virtualization, server consolidation, database, business processing, graphics intensive and general 4P data-intensive applications where the right performance is paramount.

In this refurbished system you install two or four 1st generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors from the Gold 5100 series, Gold 6100 series & Platinum 8100 series. If you will be needing to take advantage of the maximum memory capacity of 6TB you will need to select the processors with an "M" suffix as these are the only ones which support 1.5TB each. Processors with the "M" can only of support a max of 768GB. Each  processor can support 12 memory module slots with 2 memory module slots per memory channel. If you have a 4 processor configuration that's 48 memory slots in total you can take advantage of, or half that if you only have 2 processors in the system. You can choose from Registered (RDIMM), load-reduced (LRDIMM), or non-volatile NVDIMM modules operating at speeds of up to 2666MHz.

This system has up to 4.7 times better storage than the previous HP DL580 Gen9 system. The Gen10 version comes as a 8SFF as standard but with the option to upgrade the storage with up to 48 drives by selecting the HPE DL580 Gen10 8SFF HDD Bay Kit from the drop down menus above. If you are needing 48 drives please feel free to get in contact and we can arrange this for you. Up to 4 HPE Flexible Slot power supplies are what powers this system and they come in a couple of options, either the 800W, or 1600W power supplies with efficiencies of 94% and 96%. Flex Slot power supplies are certified for high-efficiency operation and offer multiple power output options, allowing customers to choose the power supply which is perfect for specific server configurations. This flexibility helps to reduce power waste, lower overall energy costs, and avoid "trapped" power capacity in the data centre.
