The 8440 supports block and file deployments in both all-flash and hybrid configurations, and includes advanced 3PAR capabilities such as adaptive optimisation, QoS controls, peer persistence, and seamless mobility between arrays. Within the HPE 3PAR StoreServ 8000 series, the 8440 sits above the 8400 in terms of performance headroom, and it shares the same family line-up as the 8200 and 8450 models.
