Training Academy
What is our Training Academy?
At Intelligent Servers, our people are key to our success. That is why we invest heavily in developing our staff so that they can enjoy a fulfilling career with us, which in turn enables us to achieve the best products and solutions to our customers.
Our Training Academy is a bespoke training and development programme which has been built in-house at Intelligent Servers to enhance the skills and knowledge of our staff and create clear career pathways throughout the company. As an employer, we are committed to investing in our staff to develop talent through ongoing training and development and our Training Academy is key to achieving this.
Training Academy Case study: Progression within our Technical Team
April 2021: Luke joined Intelligent Servers as a Technical Apprentice.
August 2022: Luke completed his Level 3 IT Solutions Technical Apprenticeship with Estio. Luke was then given a permanent contract as Technician and continued to progress with the company’s Technical Training Programme.
August 2023: Promoted to Senior Technician (Level 1).
February 2024: Progressed to Senior Technician (Level 2) whilst working towards CCNA (200-301).
Today: Luke is now working towards a promotion to Assistant Technician Operations Manager within our Technical Team, which will complement his Senior Technician skillset that he has developed since joining Intelligent Servers.
As a Senior Technician (Level 2), Luke has recently worked on an interesting order which consisted of a cluster of 3PAR and Synergy frames whereby the Synergy frames were connected in pairs. Luke describes the technical training programme as an effective way of learning, whereby all the required information can be found within the company’s training materials.
