A three-year warranty may be standard, but our approach to post-sale support is more thorough-designed to meet the real-world demands of IT teams, not just cover the basics. Every item we sell-whether a refurbished server, network switch, or storage array-goes through detailed inspection and testing by our Professional Services team before it leaves our warehouse. Our team includes experienced and certified engineers who don’t just follow checklists-they spend hundreds of hours reverse engineering equipment to fully understand its behaviour, limitations, and compatibility across environments. We do this because the reality of deploying enterprise hardware isn’t simple-and surface-level checks or spec-sheet comparisons don’t cut it.

While a three-year warranty comes as standard, extended five-year options are also available on request-for added peace of mind or where projects require longer coverage to align with operational or procurement needs.

If any hardware fault occurs during the three-year warranty period, we’ll replace the component free of charge. UK customers can expect Next Working Day delivery on replacements. In Europe, it’s typically 1 - 3 working days. This means minimal downtime for you - we'll swiftly address any problems, ensuring your business or personal activities can continue without interruption.
Our Professional Services Team doesn’t disappear after dispatch. You’ll have access to free remote support - including help with setup, configuration, integration, and migration. If you're questioning how a piece of kit will sit within your current environment, our team is on hand to advise. We routinely help customers verify compatibility before purchase, and if issues come up during deployment, we’ll assist remotely. Our team will be available throughout the entire three-year warranty period. No scripts or generic support - just experienced people who know the hardware inside out.

Is general wear and tear covered by the warranty?
No, our three year warranty does not cover wear and tear from accidents, misuse or improper care. General wear and tear usually describes the breakdown of materials that occurs naturally over time such as scratches or dents.
Can I increase my warranty period to more than three years?
Yes, we are happy to discuss extended warranties. Bespoke warranty options and SLAs are available. If you wish to add this to your order, please get in touch with one of our account managers.
My item arrived damaged, what should I do?
We’re sorry to hear this. Please send us an email with your order number and a photo of the damaged item and delivery box to RMA@intelligentbrokerage.co.uk. We'll be in touch ASAP to help sort out the problem.
