The HPE Alletra 6070 is the high-performance tier of the Alletra 6000 series, built for workloads where cache depth and sustained throughput matter. The architecture is the same as the rest of the family - 4U, dual controllers, 24 NVMe bays - but controller memory steps up to 448GB per controller, and maximum raw capacity reaches 1,104TB across the base array and two expansion shelves. SCM cache support is included. Connectivity options scale accordingly: up to 48 iSCSI ports (10GbE or 25GbE), up to 8 100GbE ports, or up to 24 32Gb FC ports per array. Like all 6000-series arrays it carries Triple+ Parity RAID, guaranteed 6x9s availability, and HPE InfoSight's continuous predictive monitoring across storage and VMs. The 6070 requires 1600W or 2200W PSUs and 200–240V power - worth factoring in if you're planning a refurbished deployment. Buying refurbished brings enterprise-tier performance within reach of budgets that new 6070 pricing typically rules out.
