With the current situation in Ukraine, the team here at Intelligent Servers have been eager to do what we can to help. After racking our brains about what we can do to aid, one of our old colleagues, Roman, who grew up and still had family living in Ukraine, reached out to ask for assistance.
Roman has been collecting as much funds, food, medical supplies, and camping equipment to donate to a Polish humanitarian depot which will directly support Ukrainians affected by the war.
After hearing from Roman, we wanted to do anything we could to help. As a result, we decided to set up a food drive in the office.
Everyone chipped in with cash donations, and a couple of office volunteers headed to the shops to get as much as possible
The team managed to raise enough to buy a car full of supplies, and in total, Roman collected 31 palettes of supplies. We also had enough money left over to help cover the costs of shipping the goods to Ukraine and donated the use of our vans to help Roman collect and transport more supplies.
We are glad to have gotten involved in these donations, but sincerely hope that all Ukrainian people are safe and that support for the cause continues.
