This refurbished HPE ProLiant DL560 Gen10 Server is a high-density, four-socket (4S) server with high performance, scalability and reliability, all in a 2U chassis. Supporting the latest 2nd generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors, the DL560 Gen10 Server offers fantastic processing power, up to 6 TB of faster memory, IO of up to eight PCIe 3.0 slots, up to 12 TB of HPE Persistent Memory plus the intelligence and simplicity of automated management with HPE OneView and HPE iLO 5. The HPE ProLiant DL560 Gen10 Server is the ideal server for business critical workloads, virtualization, server consolidation, database, business processing, and general 4P data-intensive applications where data centre space and the right performance are paramount.

In this system you can choose between two or four 1st generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors from the Platinum 8100 series, Gold 6100 series & Gold 5100 series and  families can be installed in this system. Two processors are housed on the main system board, while the third and fourth processors plus their associated memory slots reside on a CPU mezzanine board that clamps down over processors one and two. Each one of the processors can support a maximum of six channels, which is two more memory channels than the previous generation Intel Xeon E5-2600 V4 processors. If you are wanting to take advantage of supporting 1.5TB of memory you have to select a processor with the "M" suffix, if not then the rest of the processor family with support 768GB. Each processor supports 12 memory slots with two memory modules per memory channel for a total of 48 memory slots with all four processors installed. 

The HPE ProLiant DL560 Gen10 server supports drive configurations of 8, 16 and a maximum of 24 x 2.5-inch drives housed in three separate up-front drive cages. Supported drive types include SAS, SATA and NVMe HDD and SSD storage devices. You can have up to 2 HPE Flexible Slot power supplies are what powers this system and they come in a couple of options, either the 800W, or 1600W power supplies with efficiencies of 94% and 96%. Flex Slot power supplies are certified for high-efficiency operation and offer multiple power output options, allowing customers to choose the power supply which is perfect for specific server configurations. This flexibility helps to reduce power waste, lower overall energy costs, and avoid "trapped" power capacity in the data centre.
