The HPE StoreEver MSL 1/8 Tape Library series is a 1U, 8-Slot, Single Half Height Tape Drive, Rack Mount Library designed to meet high density Tape Storage requirements for space contrainted infrastrucutre environments.

Supported Tape Drives and Tape Media start at LTO-2, all the way up to LTO-9 allowing for up to 144TB raw capacity, or 360TB compressed capacity at a 2.5/1 compressions ratio. Tape Drive to Host Server connectgivity comes in thress flavours; either SAS 12Gbit, SAS 6Gbit or 8Gbit Fibre Channel.
