The HPE StorageWorks MSL8096 Tape Library series is a 96-Slot, 4 Half Height Tape Drive or 4 Full Height Tape Drive, 8U Rack Mount Library designed to meet high density Tape Storage infrastrucutre requirements.

Supported Tape Drives and Tape Media start at LTO-2, all the way up to LTO-6 allowing for up to 240TB raw capacity, or 600TB compressed capacity at a 2.5/1 compressions ratio. Tape Drive to Host Server connectgivity comes in thress flavours; either Ultra-320 SCSI, SAS 6Gbit 4Gbit Fibre Channel or 8Gbit Fibre Channel.
