HPE StorageWorks MSL4048 Tape Libraries

The HPE StorageWorks MSL4048 Tape Library series is a 48-Slot, 2 Half Height Tape Drive or 4 Full Height Tape Drive, 4U Rack Mount Library designed to meet high density Tape Storage infrastrucutre requirements.

Supported Tape Drives and Tape Media start at LTO-2, all the way up to LTO-8 allowing for up to 576TB raw capacity, or 1.4PB compressed capacity at a 2.5/1 compressions ratio. Tape Drive to Host Server connectgivity comes in thress flavours; either Ultra-320 SCSI, SAS 6Gbit 4Gbit Fibre Channel or 8Gbit Fibre Channel.
