The refurbished HPE H241 Smart Host Bus Adapter is a versatile 2X4 12Gb/s SAS external port HBA that delivers the flexibility and speed characteristic of HPE products. This Smart HBA is particularly well-suited for establishing external connections to tape drives, shared storage, and external JBODs, supporting both 12G SAS and 6G SATA Hard Disk Drives.

It's also highly capable when it comes to high-performance SSDs that don't require data protection. In today's data centers, this refurbished SAS HBA plays a vital role in achieving cost-effective scalability and reliability.

The H241 Smart Host Bus Adapter offers the option to operate in either HBA mode or simple RAID mode. In simple RAID mode, it supports RAID 0, RAID 1, and RAID 5, with the added possibility of enabling HPE Secure Encryption.

It's important to note that, unlike HPE Smart Array Controllers, the H241 does not provide acceleration or support cache modules.
