The D2200sb DAS (Direct Attached Storage) Storage Blade sit's with the BL460c Gen8 and connects via the C7000 backplane. When the server boots you see a second HP Smart Array Controller booting and scanning the disks. You can then press F8 to configure logical drives using the D2200sb Storage Blades, configuring the 12x SAS Hard Drives giving the BL460c Gen8 Blade Server an additional 7.2TB SAS Storage.

Each BL460c Gen8 has 128GB and 2x 8-Core CPU's giving you a total of 16 Cores and 32 threads!
